We arrived in Ames at about 4:30 in the morning on tuesday, after driving almost 2000 miles on a round trip between here and SK. It was a very rewarding trip though and I'm glad we went. On thursday I had my first surgery session- my team and I were working for almost 6.5 hours on our dog... we were all very glad to be finished! It was a wonderful experience though- we all learned a great deal. Amazing to think of how many people don't get such an experience.
